Default Water mist injection systems

Has anybody had any experience with these water mist injection systems you seeand read about inthe magazines like Diesel Power mag? They seem to have some pretty impressive claims with regards to HP gains and lower EGT's. But what is it doing to the engine in the long run. I'd be peticularly worried about reduced lubrication. Did some searching and can't seem to find any long term testing and extended use articles.

Considering it's summer, you might enjoy a water mist. How refreshing.

In the old days of carbs, I'd rev the hell out of the engine while dumping a glass of water down it......voila! STEAM CLEANED cylinders!
