Default 06 500 front end noise

Have 06 500 awd. Has a light clunk sometimes when letting off brake. sounds like front end. Dealer replaced the rack and it went away for 11000 miles. Its back. Not as bad. Anyone else?

I have a 2006 Ford 500, there is a constant ticking sound that is coming from the steering wheel area and I now have no heat or AC! What's that about? Anyone have a clue?

With so many things controlled electrically or electronically, one of the first things to check is power to the system and that is done by checking the fuses. After that is verified, then we confirm the ground connections are clean and working.. After those necessities are confirmed, then we go to specific checks of the system. Usually this requires some special equipment , something like a capable scan tool. Without the tools and training to utilize them and available information it can take a lot longer and maybe be next to impossible to troubleshoot.reliably.

One possibility for the clicking sound you hear could involve the contacts under the steering wheel or possibly involve the clockspring also under the steering wheel.
Your best bet would be to have a competent shop check out the sound and verify where it is coming from.

Harbor Freight Tools sells a 'mechanics stethescope' for $7 - 9 that helps locating specific sources of noise, especially for engine area where there are a lot of competing noises, but should help in cabin - recommend.
