I've got a 2006 Five Hundred with the audiophile stereo. It's dated, to say the least. I'd like to replace it with something significantly more current that will interact with my phone/Apple Car Play. My kids use the rear-seat DVD player (using the wireless headphones) on long trips, and they are concerned that it will no longer function if I replace the head unit. Has anybody successfully replaced the head unit and kept the rear-seat DVD player functional?

 

look at the ATOTO S8 Ultra I have this stereo and it will do what you are asking just not sure about the wireless headphone part
