Hello all I have a 2005 ford five hundred. I went out to the car and the battery was dead I charged the battery and car starts fine but none of the electronics work now I mean none windows will not work gauges not working only thing that is on is the radio screen the radio itself does not work but the screen comes on. when ignition is turned to acc before starting car and all the gauges work but once you start it everything cuts off.

Still no luck. had mechanic scan car. A code for high voltage came up said to replace alternator since voltage regulator is built into it. Still has same problem after changing and Something is still draining the battery.
The weird thing is sometimes the power will return to the guages but as soon as you touch the gas pedal they turn off then when you let go and rpm goes down they kick back on.
