trouble code p0182
I own a 2006 Five Hundred SEL with just over 95,000 on it. I recently replaced the fuel pressure sensor as it kept throwing on the check engine light. Once I changed the fuel pressure sensor it started to act funny and showed low fuel pressure coming from the pump. So I do go ahead and replace the fuel pump It was a chore to get that locking ring off to change it. Once I installed the new fuel pump the car came back to life it was idling at the manufacturer's spec of 700 rpm. I take it for a short drive of about 15 miles and just as I am getting it home its check engine light comes back on I hook the scan tool up and it shows trouble code p0182 Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit Low Input. Now for the life of me, I cannot seem to locate the fuel temperature sensor at all and there are not many results online talking about it. The car is running fine, with no hesitation except when it idles down it dips below 500 rpm then it goes back to normal. Driving it Is not causing any issues, I am stuck and need some help on what I should be looking at to resolve the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated to point me in the right direction.
