I have a 2013 Ford Flex , the auto temp goes on and off , its worse in the morning seems to work ok later in the day, stays on for just a minute goes off comes back on by itself rear defrost works and stays on everything else seems to work fine just goes on and off on its own

 

A health check of the HVAC module might be necessary to verify all is well there. A good , high quality, scan tool should be able to verify this.

1. Faulty engine coolant temperature sensor
2. Broken wirings
3. Faulty gauge or instrument cluster
4. Corrosion in plug connectors
5. Bad thermostat
6. Air in the cooling system
7. Broken engine control unit
