Replaced Transmission, need to program solenoid body strat.
2010 Ford Flex 3.5 Ecoboost 6F50 transmission.
I recently replaced my transmission in the Flex. The new solenoid body does not match what was previously in the vehicle. I need to program the solenoid body strategy. I have ForSCAN but it doesn't seem to have the ability to program the solenoid body strategy. Without having to tow the vehicle 40 miles to the nearest dealership and spend the $220 they want to program it, do I have any other options? Any help is greatly appreciated thanks!

Did you try disconnecting the `battery and discharge the capacitors by holding the negative cable end on the positive cable end for a few seconds , then reconnect the negative cable back on to the battery, start the vehicle without touching the the throttle pedal for a few minutes to allow idle to set, then drive it normally for a few miles with all normal driving . It should relearn your driving habits during that time.

PCM contains the SB strategy/ID and has to match the service tag on the SB/trans. A mismatch, possibly a trans shop that has VCM/IDS capability if any closer, or a lower cost option.
With Forscan,, did you have an Extended License ? If so,, there was no Transmission Characterization Update option?

Under Forscans granted "Extended License Agreement ' it's not listed as a programming option?
From what you understand?,, meaning someone with a Forscan Extended License checked for you?
Or, you requested the Extended License and it is not there/missing in the module programming selections?
