I have a 2000 Ford focus manual 5 Speed. My fuel light indicator stays on empty all the time. It doesn't register the fuel at all. Any ideas??? Please need help...

 

The unit in the tank needs to be verified as working and the power and ground at the tank unit should also be confirmed good. If those are good, then possible a wire connection. The dash gauges rarely give any trouble.
Most folks don't have the facilities to do the tests and if that is the case here, best to have a good shop repair the problem.
