Smile 2023-as Ford Focus 1.5 EcoBlue Titanium

Hi there,

I recently purchased a 2023 Ford Focus 1.5 EcoBlue Titanium hatchback.
1. Does the reversing light only work on the right side originally?
2. Does the engine block cover not exist for this model? (it wasn't on when I bought it)

Thank you for your help!

1) Both left and right should turn on at the same time, if not simply check the left bulb and replace it. If it's not the bulb after swapping right to left, there shouldn't be any fuse for reverse lights since they are controlled by BCM (body control module), so a capable scanner like Foxwell NT510 Elite or Forscan can retrieve the DTC. If you don't have a capable scanner last resort locate where the splice (split up the left and right) is and use your multimeter to test at the splice.

2) Wherever you purchased your used car from, when the engine cover was missing and you didn't inform the seller for possible price reduction, you just have to buy it yourself.
