i have a 2008 Ford Focus SES, The front pipe on all websites have a flang on both sides the front pipe right off the cat convertor is flanged on one side but not on the side that goes to the cat convertor ???

Can I just order a front pipe cut off the flange and use a couple with a couple clamps on the side to the cat convertor ?

Why not go to your local auto supply store and ask what types they show and are available? If you didn't own the vehicle from new, it is possible someone installed an aftermarket set up that may be different from original. You may even be in the middle of doing the same thing.
