Default 06 f350 std starts in gear

I can't get my 06 f350 truck which has a standard transmission in it so that I have to use the clutch!it will start in gear!😤
I replaced the clutch safety switch and even just unplugged it and still will start without the clutch! Is there something else that can make it bypass that switch cause I can't figure this out?my cruise and my command start all stopped working about the same time I think!
i need to get a safety done on it and it's gotta be fixed

Welcome to the site..

The PCM is looking for a ground via the clutch pedal switch, when depressed, the switch grounds and the PCM knows the clutch is released.. With cruise, any time you would hit the brakes or clutch is depressed cruise is canceled.

Aftermarket start system? Gas, Diesel?

Not at all, or yet, but I'd start with a check of the PCM harness out to safety switch connector for a short to or grounding before condemning the PCM. What was the reason for the prior PCM replacement? Did you install the start system?

I had visions put it in! They do good work as a rule! It's been in pretty much since new!
It's been changed 2 times I believe! The first time ford did it and can't remember why and the second time the mechanic washed under the hood and got it wet somehow.
When I follow the wires from the clutch switch it looks like they go to the fuse panel!
