1986 Ford Thunderbird 3.8L V6 starting issue. Was running good, noticed a slight skip. Changed rotor cap, button, spark plugs, ect... Made sure everything was connected and tried to crank. NO FIRE!... I checked everything again for connection issue. Still not starting. Pulled my distributor to check the gear to make sure it was not stripped. Gear looked fine. Re-installed distributor and turned motor over, got spark. Have spark at the plugs, gas reaching plugs, but will not start. What am I over looking here? Ran OBD1 test and saysI may have a problem with my MAP sensor. It should still run, right?
Okay new update... Changed distributor and fired up. Now will not idle. This car is getting me really frustrated. Idled fine before I had the distributor issue.

 

I would be looking for vacuum leaks.
