Default 2007 escape no crank no start

i have 2007 escape 2.3.
last week it broke down with a no crank no start issue.
i have checked the starter it is good.
i have replaced the transmisson range selector, still no start.
i have tried different keys, still no start.
there is a aftermarket remote starter on, but i dont know it that makes any difference.
does anyone have any ideas.

thanks

any theft deterrent lights on?
any loss of communication dtc set? If the CAN C line is down you will have a no crank, no start condition.

Did you verify the battery is ok; will it pass a load test?
How did you verify the starter is ok?

will it crank with the remote start system unplugged?

If it does have a communication problem, a good part of the time Disconnecting "add on" additions permits the system to communicate again.
