I need to replace my 2014 ford ambient air temperature sensor but I cannot find it. I have the part but I have been searching all the normal places, in front of radiator, behind the bumper etc and I can not locate it. Does anyone know exactly where it can be found? Photos would be very helpful. I have a 5.4L expedition

 

Please don't be offended if we ask how it was determined the ambient sensor requires replacement. Unless definite checks were done to confirm that is the problem, it can be very disappointing if the problem still persists after the part is replaced..

 

the outside temperature reads very high (will say 127° when it’s in fact 95° for instance) after we did our research we came to the conclusion that this needed replacement.
