Hello Fellow Ford Lovers,

My 2019 Ford Edge is giving me a headache -

Accelerating from zero, the pressure in the air intake manifold at cylinder 4 increases to levels outside of the specificication - and the motor “stutters” - take your foot off of the accelerator and appears that the motor backfires through the intake valve

We replaced spark plugs, coils, and fuel injectors and the problem persists

Can anyone help me with a suggestion? What is the problem and how to solve it?

I need help . Can you fill me in with just how you knew cyl #4 is over pressurized?

There could be a VVT (variable valve timing) problem. or maybe a different problem.
Would help a lot if we knew what engine, and if turbocharged..
