Blower motor, resistor, or what?
I'm not 100% sure how to post this or if this is the right place to ask this question. So I'm sorry if I'm do this wrong this is my 1st forum I've joined . So here is my issue . I have a 17 Ford Escape SE with the 1.5L and when I turn my A/C on it works for about 20 to 30 seconds then gradually stops blowing. It doesn't matter if it on HI or Low heater does the same. I've read tons of different things but nothing exactly like this. Any info or suggestions will be extremely appreciated. Thanks ...
I don't make the forum policy, but if you have a problem with a Ford, this is the place to seek help.
Can't always have the answers, but we try.
What you might consider, remove the blower motor, not that difficult. Apply power and ground connections to it and see what it does
If it runs and runs normally without stopping , that would tell us the motor is OK.
Now we go looking for where the power comes to the motor and most times it is from the blower motor switch. Other times it may come from a module that controls the heating and ventilating system..
Before replacing anything , we try to verify the motor is obtaining good power and ground .

It's the blower motor. I done as you suggested and it ran for 20 seconds and slowly came to a stop. I wanted to make sure before I started taking stuff off it wasn't something that could be resolved with a reset of some kind . Everything I read said Hvac system only blows on HI or Low and all those solutions were resistors. I expected the blower to be behind the glove box. It wasn't a hard job but it took me an hour and a half to get it out. I thank you for your time and your help. Really appreciate it..
