Default Looking to replace 2001 7.3 powerstroke

Howdy,
I have a 2001 f 350 with 240,000 original miles on it- mostly towing my 24 ft inboard jet boat- just replaced the tranny last year- never changed injectors - still runs but is lacking in power-I can tell it's getting tired-
I'm looking at options- but I think I'm leaning towards a completely rebuilt engine- does anyone have opinions?? on builders?? The truck still runs - starts- 17 mpg av. 12 towing - body in great shape-no rust -all original-
the oil pan is seeping- from rust- and rear main leaking- does not use oil-
any thoughts appreciated-
thanks-
Mark

The rusting oil pans are a known problem and will leak eventually.
You just might find an engine in a salvage yard with low mileage.
