New CVP71 owner
Greetings All,
So I just purchased my 03 CVP71 about two weeks ago, I had taken her to two mechanics for a once over and received a thumbs up from both of said persons.
I proceeded to remove all the exposed wires that were left scattered along the floor boards and under my dash area and in doing so I lost my tail lights, turning signals, reverse light and break lights. After this I picked up a repair manual and followed the schematics and wire diagrams, after 7 hours I was able to restore my lighting back to function.
Now I have trouble with over heating at an idle and my cooling fan no longer runs. Before jumping the gun and replacing the thermostat and or water pump, I thought I should reach out to fellow P71 owners and see if I may find some seasoned guidance.
Any thoughts???
Also... I have in the last day experienced lagging acceleration, a weak idle and my check engine light has turned on?
Starting to think my time spent and research into finding a good Interceptor was not carried out as successfully as I had thought.
