07 Freestar 4.2 liter starts & dies

Put a new fuel pump and now it starts and dies. Any idea why?

Will it stay running if you apply a little throttle to it? If so, I would suspect a dirty/failed IAC module. Also, when was the last time the fuel filter was replaced?
