the sealant forms solidifies when exposed to air. When a shop connects their equipment to it, the sealant enter the machine and it clogs up the valves in the machine. when they recovery your sealer filled system, it will fill their recovery tank with sealer and now sealer will be passed onto every other vehicle they charge.


now that your leak isn't fixed, the system is full of air, gunk wlll form throughout. when leaking parts are replaced the system will have to be opened and the sealer will again form gunk throughout the system.

but it is already solidies as you said so how it enter enter the machine and clogs up?

The sealer travels thru the system as a liquid looking for leaks to seal. As the sealer reaches any atmospheric air, it solidifies (but only the minute portion that reaches air). The rest continues to flow thru the system with the oil and refrigerant. When a system is evacuated, system oil and the sealer can make its way into the evacuation equipment making it an expensive issue for the shop working on the system with the sealer installed.

So why I am still loosing the refrigent? The sealent is suppose to seal every small hole. I am confused

because its a junk product. the high side goes over 200psi on the high side...the leak needs to be fixed properly. the leak needs to be located and the bad part replaced.
