ABS and Brake light stays on. Checked fuse and it was blown. Replaced the fuse and it blew again within 30 seconds. I disconnected the brake pressure switch and tried again. Same result. Dont know what else it could be. Help.

Hi Brian,
Because all vehicles are not the same , it is important for us to know ; Year, model, engine size.
Can you help us out here?

The (ABS) system sends a bias voltage down to the wheel speed sensors and the module to determine if all is well when you turn the key on.
Since the fuse is blowing right away , it tells us there is a problem found during the check-out procedure.
Your best bet is to have a check out done with a capable scan tool , checking for codes. There should be a code for which wheel position has the problem. There is obviously a shorted to ground wire on that wheel speed sensor position .It could be the sensor or the wiring. If the sensor is disconnected and the fuse doesn't blow, that would confirm the sensor is most likely the problem. If the fuse blows with the sensor disconnected , you will need to chase that wire all the way back to the module looking for any rubbed thru area contacting a possible ground.
