Default Program keys

Can I program keys with one original?
and I changed the ignition lock cylinder so the original doesn’t turn in the cylinder, does it need to turn the cylinder or can I just have it near the ignition to program the other keys?

You’d need two active keys to be able to program them yourself. And all the keys would need to be able to cycle the ignition to On during the programming.

There are programs like Forscan that will allow for PATS programming on certain vehicles with one key, but would require their free download, a Windows laptop, and an ELM327 adapter to comm with the vehicle/module..
