My start issue ended up being the chip inside the key being faulty. Normally the top dash security light blinks red, turn the key to On position, it goes solid red and a moment later it goes out and you can start the van. During the troubleshooting stage, I found the security light would not go solid red prior starting and therefore not start. I tried my other key and it started right up. I went back and forth 4-5 times between the 2 keys and diagnosed that the initial key chip was nfg. I had the key chip replaced and all is good now.
