Default Water trap

I'm trying to figure out how water got in. Checked the seal and sealed tight.

You'll probably find that the seal is in fact not sealing 100%. Had the same issue with my 04 years ago, but on my drivers side. got water when driving in the rain and washing the vehicle.

When does the water appear? after driving thru the rain, washing the vehicle?

Easiest way I found to follow a leak is to use water detect paste (Kolor Kut or Gasoila). I put a thin coat or the past all around the seal and closed the door. Then I ran the hose around the door. The past turn red where the water hits it. Mine was leaking in the lower corner of the seal where the bottom rear of the door seated (not) against the seal.

Try the water detect paste and then hose the door down like the rain would. Then wait a few minutes before opening the door so that you don't get false tracing from water entry when opening the door.

Sometimes when you couldn't get to areas with paste we used a little talcum powder to reveal the path of the water origin.
