when you stop quickly, yellow wrench light comes on and car will not move unless you shut off and restart in a minute or two. any ideas??

 

You didn't provide the year of your vehicle, but there is a good chance it has Electronic Throttle Control. That light indicates a problem in that area. You should have your dealer check that out at your earliest opportunity.
