I am working on a friend's 2015 Fusion. When you turn the key, you hear a click, but the engine won't spin over. We've tested the starter and the solenoid. They're both good. I am used to working on vehicles without mainframes under the hood. While we're trying to figure this out, I ran a wire from the solenoid that he can touch to the battery to at least get the car started so he can drive it. I need to see a wiring diagram so I can track this backwards from the starter. Can anyone help a fella out here?

 

Can you tell us what the anti theft light is doing ?

That might help determine if the security system is involved.
