2016 ford fusion se power steering
I just bought the car yesterday for a decent deal due to it having steering assist advance track and traction control error on screen. I plugged in my obdlink sx and scanned for the codes with forscan. I can't see the power steering module at all. No errors and no codes pointing to it. Do I need a newer adapter that can hand the mscan bus to be able to access the module?
I'm trying to see the error it has so I know where to start on repairing the steering. Right now there is no assist at all. Also is there any other fuses for it on this model other than the one 10amp under the hood?

Found the fuse for it and it was OK. Also power/ground at the motor. I'm still not getting any communication with it. It seems like I'm not getting communication with a few modules. I can see the pcm the bcm the park assist and the tpms system plus another module or two. I cant see the abs the pscm I don't get the option to program keys or anything so seems like I'm not seeing the security parts either.
I have a new adapter coming in tomorrow but this car did have a minor impact in the front passenger corner. I kind of wonder if there is and can network wiring up there. I'm just at a loss with it now since I can't see any of those modules or their codes. I have drove the car the last two days with no issues other than the power steering out, advance Trac light, traction control light and hill assist lights on
Also if I remove the 10amp fuse for the pcsm I do get an error that the bcm lost communication with the pscm

That's the plan but I'm not able to see those modules to be able to pull code from them.
Replaced the full rack and pinion due to not being able to find a replacement torque sensor. $90 for a rack with 25k miles was a steal and the car now has no codes.
