Default Intermittent starting problem

About 2 months ago my 2006 fusion would not start. the battery terminals were fairly corroded so i cleaned them and it still would not start. I got a jump start, drove home (about 10 minutes) and stopped the car. It started right up and I didn't have any issues until recently.

A week ago it wouldn't start again. When the key is turned, you can hear the starter (?) clicking like it wants to turn but there isn't enought power to do so. After turning the key a couple times it won't even turn. I can get a jump start and after just a couple minutes of running the engine, stop the car and start it up without a jump. Is this the starter going bad? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Most auto parts stores will test your battery and load test your starter for free. This would be my first move.
