Default New and have question about Fusion Hybrid's

New to this forum, but not new to Ford's. Looking to by my 16 year old a good used car. Came across a 2011 Fusion Hybrid with 150k on it. Not knowing anything about these Hybrids, I wondering what types of problems they cars have? Should I just look for a 4cyl or 6cyl Fusion and skip the Hybrids? Looking to spend under $8k

Grant you, we all are trying to do our share regarding our environment, that said, let's look at a few considerations.
How long and what type battery is in the vehicle?
What kind of facilities are required to recharge the battery ?
Are there places close by that are capable of servicing that vehicle?
These are only some of the questions that come up.
What do you think?
