Default P0340 and P0344 engine codes

I recently replaced the timing chain on my 2013 Lincoln with the 3.7L, V6 engine. The car started up but threw a P0340 and P0344 engine code. I replaced the two camshaft sensors, but the codes are still there. If the timing was off, the car would be throwing way more codes, am I right on that? Do you have any pointers on how to fix this issue? What fuses do I check that run the camshaft sensors? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you did not have any codes before replacing parts, you might want to recheck your work

12V or 5V reference voltage doesn't matter, it gets from the PCM, not a dedicated fuse. So simply recheck the connection and wiring between your PCM and the sensors. Use voltmeter and ohmmeter to verify.

Copy that. I didn't have the code before the repair; I must have a loose connection somewhere.

There are times when we plug a plug onto/into a component the pin(s) sometimes back out of the plug to result in an intermittent connection. A good idea to make this a part of your recheck procedure.

Thank you for the guidance. Would you advise a little dielectric gel in the connectors to help with the overall connectivity? Do you have any recommendations? Thanks
