Default Multiple OBD codes after timing chain replacement

2011 Explorer,3.5l motor. Replaced the timing chain and water pump. Everything went back together as designed. Now car has rough idle and hardly any throttle response. Also getting a Low Oil Pressure message. Scanned for codes and getting multiple codes for: Misfire in cylinders 1,2 and 3. Camshaft position sensor on Bank 1. Cylinder Head Temperature sensor code. And a couple others.

Questions are:

With so many codes (13 codes but some are duplicated) is the problem likely that i have left something unhooked when i put it back together or messed up some wiring / plug when i was taking it apart?

Low oil pressure - how do you determine if the VVT solenoids are the issue or if it's the oil pump? i had the VVT solenoids out for about an hour. And they are back in the correct positions.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Could really use some help on this. Low oil pressure issue solved, I removed and cleaned the VVT solenoids. Still getting P0340 and P0344, bank 1 cam position sensor position A which is intake I believe. Also getting a misfire code on all cylinders on bank1 (cylinders 1, 2 and 3 if I’m not mistaken). I have verified all cam position sensors are good. Reading that a faulty alternator could be the issue maybe? Could a bad CHT sensor cause this? Any help is appreciated.

If you suspect the CHT or alt , just clear the codes disconnect the CHT and unplug the alt , run it and see what you get.

If codes come up for other than 340 ,one of the 2 you disconnected is the cause.

Thanks I will try that later today when I get home. But let me ask this - would the timing chain being say 1 tooth off cause these codes? i took extra care to make sure the timing chain marks lined up with the marks on the phasers, but no matter what i tried, i would have had to move the cam on bank 1 about 1 tooth from where i took it apart at to get it to match the marks on the chain. i decided to leave it in the position it was in when i disassembled it because it ran fine prior to the water pump failing. i really don't want to have to take it back apart again, that timing chain cover is a @#$%, but if that could be it i'll have to do it.

Took timing cover off again. Reinstalled chain and spun the engine over 20 times to verify chain placement. All good. Reassembled and the misfire codes were gone. But got new codes P0012 and P0022 and a rattling or slight knocking in the top end of the motor. Installed new VVT solenoids. Still had knocking sound so changed oil to 15w-40. Still had knocking sound and still getting those codes. And did some research found out where the thick oil can keep the cam phasers from working like they should. So this morning did an oil change back to 5W-20 and still getting the codes, still getting the knocking sound, and now got the low oil pressure light flashed on briefly. Also getting a new code for a cam position sensor on bank 1, position A which makes sense actually. Help!
