Default Passenger side blowing cold air?

So got my 2013 Ford Fusion 1.6 Turbo back from dealer. They state it is not the blower actuator that is causing the problem with only cold air on coming out of passenger side. State everything looks ok. Tested actuators ok. They say it is the entire Plenum that is broke. Something about there is a door that runs off of a door inside that may not be closing. Replacement cost $2700. Just want to know your thoughts?

This is the kind of job you would want to give to a dedicated, patient and careful person to do. It can get quite lengthy and delicate AND crude hands can upset a few things.
The cost is most likely not for the parts, but the labor involved. Depending on just how much has to be removed , it can easily be a whole day job, IF ALL GOES WELL !

Because of the amount of $$$ possibly involved,
I would suggest you get another opinion or two. For that amount I would like to be very sure that is what is causing the problem.

So my question is. There are actually more doors that are not controlled by the actuator. This whole thing doesn’t make sense. Just driving down the road and started blowing cold air. Dealer said they put a camera down dash vent and can see door close? But there maybe another door inside of another door. You would think it would be the passenger temperature actuator?
