Default Pcm failure

I have a 2008 Ford Fusion with a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine. Just recently prior to turning off the car the motor stalled and the dashboard light showing a wrench lit up. So, I hooked up a scanner to see what codes had been set. The codes P0607, P1000, P1674, and P2105 are what came up on my cheap scanner. In short, I was looking at codes that tell me that my PCM is corrupt and has a programming error. Control Module being corrupt caused a forced throttle shut down. The motor will crank over without issue or any difficulty but will not start or even sound as if the plugs are firing. Prior to the PCM puking on me, I had replaced the battery with a new one. The old one had a bad cell. So, I am about to purchase a re-manufactured PCM with the concern that there may be a component in the ignition system that caused my car into a forced shutdown. If anyone has dealt with such a problem and had to replace their PCM, I would like to know what else I should look for prior to installing a replacement PCM. Appreciate your input. The car is in really good shape and I would like to get it back on the road.

Your PCM must be programmed to your vehicle, so if you get another , make sure it is preprogrammed. They will need your vehicle VIN to do this.
