2003 gas filler door screws.
When I bought my 2003 Mustang it had one of those goofy looking aftermarket gas filler doors. The car is Zinc Yellow, and fuel filler door was black, so it stuck out like a sore thumb. I got a stock fuel filler door from eBay, and need the screws to install it. Will any screw of the proper thread size work, or is there likely to be a clearance problem with the heads? Is this hardware still available from the dealer, or am I on my own. I have ordered the stock rubber bumpers.
I found the right screws and washers at Lowes, and it all fits fine. Now all I have to do is paint it yellow to make it match the car, and get the stock look back. I can't believe some of the horrible things people do to these cars.
True that..
There's a mid 90's rag top running around here in our town that is one of the most ratty cars Ive ever seen, All spray can tagged up, torn top, no glass, fishing poles hanging out the back window!
Must be tough driving it in the winter when the snow comes.
Looks to have had a very hard life, but still running!
