Default Electrical problem

Hi i have a 2002 muatang gt
I have this problem were my car acts like its dead almost like the terminals are super loose.
The battery reads 12.3 and the positive terminal is burning hot along with the two wires
My starter is super hot and the alternator is the same temp as the rest ive ran through all the wires amd nothing seems to be touching or melted
When i pop the clutch the car runs fine but the lights and gauge cluster flicker
Any help would be appreciated thanks
