Cool putting together a stock 302

I have an 88 mustang that i has a 5.0 i tore engine down tp put all new seals and gaskets in it and im to the point of setting my push rods. it has hydraulic lifters and i was told you have to set them and someone else told me you just torque them to 22ft lbs what is true

Their non adjustables. The rocker stud is shouldered and only need to be torqued. Torque ranges depending on who you ask,, may be 17-23, 18-24, but generally around 20lbs. Make sure the studs/nuts are lubed with engine oil when tightening..

22 is fine, overtightening can damage the nut/stud..

Default can i use convertible motor mounts

putting in my engine and have to get new motor mounts. i found poly one and cant really afford them found convert mounts that are alot cheaper. just wondering if i can use these and if i have to change anything else
