Is there anyone that can help with my question? I've been working on my 1st C3 tranny rebuild. I have noticed there was no spring in the rear servo. I'm sure someone has been inside this tranny before and maybe left it out??? However, there doesn't seem to be any spring wear marks on the under side of the servo or the mating service. I've spent time looking on forums and trying parts look ups. I think the original Ford number is D4ZZ-7D031-A...... but not sure. It looks like the C3 was used as far back as 1974 or at least some of the parts have. I'm not having any success locating this spring and have started to think i could make one (sometimes i'm very handy) but would some specs on the spring. What i do know is it's approx 1-3/4" I.D. and maybe 2" long. Any help
