Default 1992 Ford Ranger Pickup 4X4

Hello,
I have a 1992 Ford Ranger pickup. It has the small V6 fuel-injected engine. I have a couple problems with it. I live in western South Dakota and although it was 70 degrees today it was 14 below zero last week. I attempted to start this pickup when it was very cold. It turned over pretty fast but it would not 'catch'. It sounded on the verge of firing but just did not start. Now, it has been in the 50's and close to 70 degrees for a couple days and this V6 motor in my Ranger still won't start. I pulled a couple plugs and they looked pretty dry. The plug spark was far and bright. It smelled of gas but did not start even when given a shot of ether. If anyone may have a solution to why my Ranger will not start please send me an e-mail at khargens1024@msn.com . Thanks, Kenny

i don't know if you are far north enough for your vehicles to have block heaters in them, if your truck doesn't, you may want to find one, what it does is keeps the block of the motor warm when your motor isn't running, all you do is plug it in to an outlet outside your house, (i.e. if or when you hear of us canadians plugging our cars in) it is a big help when it's cold out. but it could also be something else, i just gave you an idea for the future
