2000 ford ranger turn light and brake
can somebody help me I have a issue with my 2000 ranger when I put the turn light on and press the brake the turn light blink fast and if I release the brake go back to normal, the same with my reverse light the brake is interfere with the light.
Sometimes we look for what what the two lights share/have in common. Usually that is the ground connection. Suggest you look for a ground wire that has come off or has a poor connection back at both of those two lights.
Check your rear tail light grounds. Also check your fuses also check for any cracks or shorts in the main wiring to the lights
Grounding is a good place to start. I found my tail light problem last week in the
multi wire connector under the hood. it is the smaller wire connector on my driver side fender. mine has about 6 wires that it connects. I pulled it apart and made sure everything looked ok and added dielectric grease into the connector and snapped it back together and all is working. Those older wire connectors can get crusty and just need a little attention.
