its a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge V6 5 speed. Latley it has been getting harder to start when i press down on the clutch. Now its to the point that im having to put all my weight down on the pedal in order for it to turn over. Please help.

 

This was a common problem with this system. There is a switch on the clutch pedal rod (yes, on the rod) that goes bad often. It senses when the clutch is depressed and lets the truck crank (it was common to bypass them). This is what's wrong with it, I'll bet.
They were a little tough to replace due to the lack of room, but it can be done.
