Almost any truck place should have 'em. Rancho, JC Whitney truck, Skyjacker, Energy Suspension, etc. Remember to keep in mind if you use it to haul stuff not to go nuts (like some people do). Lifting heavy packages an extra foot can be really annoying. A smaller truck like yours does have great offroad potential with a nice little lift kit on though. Smaller trucks fit between stuff better (rocks, trees, etc.).

You may want to keep in mind the weight factors of your truck when lifting it if you're planning on using it on paved roads. If you lift it too high with the weight incorrectly distributed you chance having easy tip-overs at higher speeds due to your body weight being shifted up higher. You can counter this by getting special rims or axles to widen the width a bit. It'll give you more of the full throttle experience.

Superlift ($1500) www.superlift.com / RCD ($2200-2500) http://www.racecardynamics.com/home.htmand Camburg Engineering (1800 and up)http://www.camburg.com/about.htmlIm not sure if the camburg kit is for 4wd or just 2wd...call and check with them. These kits are for 98 to current Rangers. Rancho/jc whitney/skyjacker only make kits to 1997 for the ranger. In 98 fordreplaced thesuspensionto an IFS suspension setup.
The white Truck which is my old Ranger(01) has the Superlift susp. and the grey truck(04) has just a 3" bodylift for now...suspension on the way!
oh ya! Body lift will cost you about $250...some people do not like body lifts...I have never had any issues with bodylifts. If you do go with a body lift MAKE sure you get gap gaurds for the bed of the truck and PLEASE get the rear bumper lift brackets. I hate seeing trucks with body lifts...the gap between the bed and frame looks hideous, the same with the rear bumper. I have put bodylifts on a 99 I had 01 and 04 rangers...If you do it right most people will think you have a suspension lift...I can not count how many times people thought I had a suspension lift when at the time I only had a body lift.

RE: 2006 4x4 Suspention Lift?
My 04 looked just like yours when I bought it new. I know that you can fit 285/75/16 tires on that truck stock w/stock wheels with no rubbing if you would rather not go with a lift. I also added 06 ranger fender flares to my04.To be honest I took the wheels and tires off my01 which has 35's and 15x10 wheels and mounted them onto my 04 after I installed the body lift...They fit but thetruckwas all tire...just wanted to see, didnt leave them on there.

Thanks a bunch !!
The body lift seemsto make more sence for me. My only question is ...................would my spare tire and hitch rec. look odd exposed 3" under the back bumper ?
I will admit that with keep'n the hitch rec. basicly at the same height will make it easy for me to haul my 5'x8' trailer. I only say that because I am using a 5" drop hitch now for it and any higher and I would have to get one of those adj. jobs and I really didn't want to use one of those if I could help it.
What mods would I have to make with the body lift ?
I had a 1978 F-150 that I had a 3" Body lift on and I know thatthefellow that put it onhad to cut and add to some parts.
