Default Clutch Pedal Position Switch

Hey yall,

I got a 93 Ranger 3.0L 4WD Manual trans, and im trying to bypass the Clutch Pedal Position Switch so that i can run a remote starter. Has anyone ever bypassed this switch before or know how. bc i expected to see a solenoid type switch w/ a wire going in and a wire going out. but instead all i can see is the wire leading from the starter relay (Red w/ Light Blue) going into a harness that is plugged into a cylinder type piece at the fire wall w/ a rod exiting from it connecting to the clutch pedal.
