Default HELP!!!

My buddy has a 2003 Ford Ranger Edge and is having problems with his headlights. His lights work on low beams but his high beams wont come on. The high beam light indicator wont come on in his dash either. He is having to run low beams constantly. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Don't know how the newer trucks are, but is it like my old one where you push forward on the controller on the left hand side of the steering column? I would check the switch in the steering column to make sure no wire came lose or if that switch is bad
