Default I know this sounds kind of stupid, but

What other model does the Ranger interchange parts with? I'm suspecting the Ford Explorer.

Reason being is I'd like to put larger wheels on my 94 Ranger STX ext cab 4x2 but, I can not find a big brake kit or after market calipers anywhere! So there has to be another to interchange with. This is no problem for me with Chevy's but Ford's I am kind of new too.[&:]

Explorer, mazda B series, and mazda navajo are all the same. I have a late 97' (98') 4x4 B3000 and every peice accpet the 4wd components are stamped (FORD) A buddie of mine has a 93 4x4 xcab ranger with the 'star' rims off an exploder. LOOKS NICE! However urs might be a 13" or 14" in which case good luck...

Go to therangerstation.com, and then click on technical library and they have a brake upgrade section

you probably don't need to upgrade the brakes, the stock ones should be fine with bigger tires
