I am purchasing a new 2020 f250 STX without power fold mirrors, after some research I found 17-18 are available as aftermarket from 1AAuto. And 8 to 22 pin jumpers available on eBay. My question is if I were to run 2 new wires from the dash to pins 18 and 19 on the 22 pin plug and a switch with reversing polarity, would the mirrors work ?
I read somewhere if the mirrors didn't work after adding an interface with power door locks, to reverse wires on pins 18and 19.
My thought is the mirror fold motors are 12vdc.
