Apparently one of my rear brakes has taken a turn for the worse. My mechanic is telling me he can't find a spreader bar and that it is a common problem with the Rangers....any advice? My truck is a 2004 Ford Ranger 4.0

 

Have you or he tried calling a few Ford dealers. That vehicle is just about 10 years old and you should be able to locate one.
