Default Stereo Removal

Anyone have good directions on how to remeve the Stereo...it's just not working any more CD's won't eject and there are some other problems I just want to replace it...

Ford uses a spring system to hold their radios in. You need a $5 tool (from any parts store) its a set of two "U" shaped tools with knitting needle looking ends, they fit into the four holes on either side of the radio- push them, in pull them away from eachother slightly and the radio comes out with little effort.

A junk yard might have a replacement OEM ford radio that will plug right in for as little as $10- Good luck!

I made a tool using a coat hanger. You need to make 2 of these, one for each side of the radio. Just make sure that the "U" is parallel and push it into each side of the radio slowly.
