Im trying to drop the tranny in my 90 Ford Ranger, but i cant get the crossber under it off. The two bolts on the frame will turn but will not come out.I NEED HELP.

Not positive but sounds as if the nut in the frame has come loose. If you can not reach it with a wrench to stop it spinning you will need to cut it out and replace.

The bolt im talking about is not connected to the frame. Here is a picture of what i mean.

I think there's a nut up where you can't see it and you have to hold it in place while loosening the bolt. One of those cheapy 12v impact wrenches will make life easier for that job as well. Good luck!
