Default Trunk wont turn over after new coil, wire, plugs

Have a 2000 Ranger with 4.0. It was running rough and we suspected possible MAF issues after using SeaFoam but have already replaced the MAF with a new one. So started trouble shooting with diagnostic computer, etc.Had two bad plugs and wires. Replaced the ignition coil, wires and all the plugs just to insure that the end to end was covered. Checked it with the computer and get zero codes. But the Ranger will not turn over at all. It will occasionally cough and sputter but will not fully start. I started reverse diagnosing by putting the old ignition coil on with the same result of not starting. I do not see how replacing the 6 plug wires and plugs would cause this issue. Looking for answers from the crowd. Thanks

Did you replace the plug wires one at a time or did you remove them all and then start to reconnect them?

My guess is maybe replaced plug wires and crossed them up a.k.a. wrong firing order.

Since we have't heard from him back in Nov of last year, we can be pretty sure he corrected the problem or had someone do it.
