Hi, I have a 2002 Ford Tauras 3.0. I turn key to start, starter does not engage and I can not program PCM. Anyone have an idea!

Just for starters---- oh oh ,
Checkout list;
1. Neutral safety switch now known as trans range selector
2. Any anti-theft system on vehicle
3. Battery good?
4. Is voltage getting to starter solenoid when key turned to start position
5. My curiosity just got the best of me,,,,,,,,,why would you need to reprogram the PCM ? There's something you're not telling us, isn't there?

 

Hey there, thank you for responding. It was the pcm relay preventing vehicle to start.
